WORLD BOOK DAY – Thursday 4th March 2021

This year we are celebrating World Book Day by hosting two different competitions. The first competition is called “The Masked Reader”. Adults in school are disguising themselves and reading a section of their favourite story. It will be your job to watch and listen to each video clip and work out who each adult is. Some staff have changed their voices. Can you work out who they are? We will provide three clues alongside the video clip and you can record your answers and send to us in the usual way (Tapestry/Purple Mash). There will be a small prize for each entrant and a bigger prize for the most amount of points. Good luck!

The second competition is a book review. Choose your favourite book and complete a book review about it. The forms are available to download on the website (Covid 19 > World Book Day) or you can collect a sheet from school. Please take a picture of your book review and send it back to us in the usual way (Tapestry/Purple Mash). There will be a prize for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

All entries need to be sent to school by 3pm Friday 5th March.

Good luck, have fun and read, read read!
