School Meals
We have our own kitchen on the premises which provides hot meals for the children. If you wish, your child may bring a packed lunch.
All children in Reception, Y1 and Y2 are eligible for a Universal Free School Meal. Please order meals via SCHOOL GRID at least one day before.
For children in Nursery, Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 school meals cost £2.90 per day/£14.50 per week. Please order via SCHOOL GRID at least the day before your child has their school meal and pay via this system. There is now no need to let the office know if your child changes from packed lunches to school dinners.

Changes to Free School Meals
From September 2026 more children will be eligible for free school meals. If your family receives Universal Credit, your child will be entitled to a free meal every school day as the current £7,400 household income cap is being removed.
What do I need to do?
If your child is already receiving free school meals, there is nothing you need to do. Bury Council will check your child’s eligibility ahead of their return to school in September 2026.
